Last year we tried something new and started the live act Blademasterz...the idea was simple, ’3 mc’s and the dj performing together as one’…too bad it didn’t worked out as we hoped.

We decided to make a whole new and fresh start…We’re going back to basic: Mc Da Syndrome (who is very well know for his outstanding performances) will be the new member of Blademasterz! Meaning from now on there will be only 1 mc on stage.

In the near future we also going to combine some new live elements that will be very innovative in the harder dance scene. Keep you updated!

This month it’s all about the festivals. Even though we didn’t had the best summer so far, we’re very lucky when it comes to the weather.

Saturday we did our third live performance with Blademasterz ! This time @ The Q-stage, Mysteryland. It was a big honour to be part of the ‘Mysteryland 15 years anniversary’. The event was sold out…60.000 visitors!!! You can imagine the area were we performed was packed. The q-stage looked really awesome, it was like a life-size Dutch windmill!!! Our set is broadcasted live…track list will be online soon!

Last week I played on Decibel…first time I had to play on this very well know event. The ‘Beeksebergen’ is such a perfect place for a party like this. The Hardbass tent was insane!! Respect to all the party people in our tent…it was pretty hot in there!;-)

Next weekend Q-base…already looking forward to it!!

Last year Brennan Heart and the very talented singer Shanokee (Such is Life/Home) teamed up in the studio. Together they wrote a few songs and worked on some new ideas, which are still in progress. At that time they also re-recorded one of Shanokee’s earlier releases called ‘Home’. Brennan Heart already played one of these mixes on Qlimax 2007. M!D!FY 010 is now available and includes the new Blademasterz Rmx, the Unknown Analoq Rmx and Homeless.

Performing at the Defqon festival last year was really great. This year I had to do it better. How could I top last year, with the great atmosphere in the rain ;-) ? Blademasterz live!! the first ever of Blademasterz. We did a great live performance. Special thanks goes out to all the fans. Brennan Heart will present his new live act: Blademasterz, at Defqon 1 Festival. At the main stage the crowd will see a first appearance of this highly anticipated project of the producer. The act will be the first of it's kind and although we cannot unveil everything, yet we can say there will be a lot of people performing at the same time!!!

The Main stage was deliberately chosen for the premiere because of the size and the impact this act will create. Brennan Heart himself is currently working full time in the studio to finish a lot of new records. One record that will be played is of course last year's anthem 'Get Wasted' which became a huge hit all over the world and even broke records in Australia.

The last 2 weeks were really great! I had 12 flights in just a few days, I played In Germany, Holland, Ireland, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in less then a week!! I must say, the Austrlian Tour was one of the best things to do! It is great to be apart of something huge like this!

After Brisbane I flew back to Sydney to have a few days off. While i'm writing this I still have to do one thing...travel home in the next 30 hours!:-(

The last few weeks were really busy in the studio. I just finished a mix for the In Qontrol cd which will be released during the In Qontrol Event @ 19 April in the Rai! Further more I finished a few new releases. In April I will update the release news!

At the moment I’m preparing myself for the next 2 weeks. First tonight I have a 600 km drive to Gigaparc Melle…Saturday I play @ the Level,Arnhem. Sunday I have to fly to Ireland were I have a gig in Omagh. Really looking forward to that one! Monday I will be home in the morning and the same day I have to take the plane to Sydney. This is the start of the Q-dance Australian Tour! I’m sure this one I gone be huge!

QLIMAX!!! OMG!!! Absolutely no words for it!!!...while I’m writing this I just realize I played on Qlimax 2007! The last weeks were so busy, I literally lived in my studio…

The crowd, the show, the lights, the visuals, the costumes, the sound, the fireworks, etc etc, everything was massive!!!

WOW what a busy schedule, last 2 weekends I had 6 performances. But they all where great!!!
I saw airport Schiphol 4 times in a week, did 2 photo sessions (in the same week!!) and in the little spare time that was left I worked in my studio.

Radstake(27-10), the first time I played in Varsseveld, but OMG they know how to party over there!!! Then I played a few tracks @ Thrillogy in The Prophet’s Area:-)
On Wednesday I flew to Kinki Palace in Sinsheim (Germany), very nice place. Friday to Cardiff (UK) to perform @ Bionic. Love the clubbers over there! Last Saturday a gig in the Netherlands and after that back to Germany for the SWAT tour kick-off.

Tonight I play @ Dieka in Markelo.

Brennan Heart – Overkill/Revival X (Showtek Rmx) will be the new M!D!FY release.

Further more I made some tracks, mash ups and dj tools just for Qlimax.

Last month I worked with the very talented artist Shanokee (singer & writer from Such is Life & Home) on a few new tracks. (Nice to meet you Penny!!) We’re still in the middle of recordings. If it’s going to be hardstyle we don’t know yet…we just love to make music and see what happens. We also re-recorded one of her earlier releases she wrote…‘Home’.

On the 17th of November I will play at the biggest indoor Hardstyle event: Qlimax!! Once a year the ultimate hardstyle event takes place in the Gelredome and I am really thrilled to be part of the show that night!! During the last few weeks I have been working in the studio to produce some new tracks specially for Qlimax. See you all at the 17th of November!!!

What a great gig last Friday!! One of the best bookings this year…I had so much fun!!! Everyone at blue heaven thanks for the great support, hope to get back soon. (Thnx 2 Daniel & Fredrik for taking care!) This week another busy week in the studio, finally got things running again.

Next week I will be playing in Moergestel (NL) and in Beesd.

Wow!! What a experience it was to visit Australia! On Wednesday I flew together with Marcel Woods to Melbourne. After 26 hours and many many cappuccino’s we arrived Thursday evening in Melbourne. Friday we went to the center of Melbourne and we relaxed for the evening. We planned the whole trip to eat some Sushi in a famous Sushi bar in Melbourne…Unfortunately we didn’t get to make it :-(
Friday evening I played @ Pharmacy in the Metro. Nice club and a lot of enthusiastic clubbers!!!

Saturday was the main event in Sydney…’ Transmission 11th Birthday’. We first had to fly 1.20 hour to get there… A short flight after the Long traveling.
Transmission was the bomb!!! A huge stadium filled with Australian Clubbers in the Olympic States Sports Center.

The Sound, stage, lights & visuals were all great!!! Compliments to Simon & his crew!!! I played from 5-6am on the main stage…
Public Domain did an awesome live performance before my set so the crowd was really awake and ready for Hardstyle!!
I made a mix from new and old tracks in my set.
Only thing I can say…1 hour isn’t enough(it felt like 15 min!!) when your enjoying every min of your set so much…

After Transmission I still had 3 days left to discover Sydney. Together with JP aka Nitrouz we did some sight seeing and visited places like the Harbor, the Zoo (with Chris ‘Lion‘ Wato!), the Aquarium, the Record store, Bondi Beach at night and finally a BBQ at Jp’s house! (Thnx to ‘ Sue & John’ !) Really nice People!!

Wednesday it was time to fly home…It was way to short to see all the nice things so i hope to be back soon!
Special thnx to Simon, Monica, Chris, Michael & Jeepee!!! And of course all the clubbers and hardstyle supporters over there!!!

Quick Update 30-08-2007

At this moment I'm preparing myself to go visit Australia... 
On Friday September 7 I will play @ Metro Theatre, Melboune. And on Saturday September 8 @ Transmission in the Sydney Olympic Sports Centre.
I am really looking forward to it!!! 

I am also thrilled that my studio is finally up and running! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! :-)
At this moment I am producing several new tracks!

During my flights to Australia, and back, I will have time to write a real update!!!

I finally found some time to finalize my remix for Deepack's classic 'Here's Johnny'. This mix is just a little bit harder then you maybe expect;-) It will be released on the 'Hardcopy' label within a few weeks!
On this moment I’m also working on 2 new releases for my own label M!D!FY!

Defqon 1…Singing In The Rain …and…Fight For Your Right To Party!!!

First of all I want to give my respect to all the die-hard Defqon followers…even when it started to rain for 30 minutes during my set they (or maybe even you!) stayed every minute outside in the Red Area!!! AWESOME!!! The Atmosphere even got better! Q-dance proved again they know how to throw a party. Also great to see that the whole festival area was decorated as one big Recycle City. I stayed till the end of the event, after that we had our own little party…The Prophet brought his famous vodka! Hahaha ;-) Thnx to the whole Q-dance crew, Ruffian, Marc&Family and special thnx to Joshua!!
